"Let em go, let em grow" is a call around the whitetail world. HOWEVER, very few have enough acreage to implement this to perfection. It also depends on where you hunt! Here's an annuli aged deer showing 6-1/2. TX free range. And if you're honest with yourself, 95% of hunters would kill a 4 yr old 160"+ whitetail.
