URGENT ADOPTATHON: this weekend only!

The MSPCA-Angell is holding an emergency fee-waived adoption event for all dogs 6 months and older at all four shelters, and we need your help NOW.

Our kennels are at capacity heading into what’s historically our busiest intake season. Dog adoptions are down 23% from last year, and with Memorial Day stray surges right around the corner, we need to act fast.

Adoption fees WAIVED for all dogs 6 months+. May 29–31 (Fri–Sun)

If you’ve been thinking about adding a dog to your family, this is your sign!! These pups need homes so we can keep saying yes to every animal who needs us this summer.

🚐✨ She’s back!!! ✨🚐

I’m SO excited to finally have my van back home!!! I just gave her a good deep clean, and I’m so happy to officially be back on the road TOMORROW resuming scheduled appointments! 🐾🤍

Starting now I’ll be reaching out to begin rescheduling all of the appointments that were missed while I was out. I’ll be going in the order appointments were canceled, as well as by town/route to keep things as efficient as possible.
Please bear with me as I work through the wait list - I’m going to do my absolute best to catch up as quickly as humanly possible, and I’ll be working extended hours where I can to help get everyone back on schedule. I do want to be honest and give a heads up that it will likely take a few weeks to fully catch up.

Hi everyone 🤍 update on the van -

The auto body shop has all the parts we need, so now it’s just a matter of putting everything back together. If all goes as planned, I should be back on the road sometime next week 🥹🤞🏼 I’m thrilled at how quickly we were able to get this done. Fingers crossed for no delays, if anything changes I’ll let you know here!

I’ve been keeping a list of everyone whose appointments have been affected, and as soon as I have the van back in my hands I’ll be reaching out to get you rescheduled as quickly as possible. I’ll be working around the clock to get everyone back on track & looking their best!!!💖

Thank you all so much for the texts, check-ins, and support during this time. Although I’ve been a little MIA on the work phone, I’ve seen all the messages & it truly means so much to me. I can’t wait to get back to work & looking forward to seeing all your pups again soon!🤍🚐✨

It kills me beyond words to have to make this post, but unfortunately I have some really difficult news. Yesterday morning, while heading to a client’s home, my grooming van was involved in an accident that was completely beyond my control. Thankfully I’m okay and there were no animals in the van, but sadly the van was not able to be driven away and will need significant repairs.😞

I will be out of work indefinitely while I work through the insurance process to get my van back on the road. This means all upcoming appointments for the near future will need to be canceled. I will be reaching out directly to all clients currently on my schedule whose appointments will be affected, and I’ll continue to share updates as soon as I have more information. This business means the world to me, and being forced to pause like this is absolutely heartbreaking 💔

That said, I am actively working to figure out a safe way to continue grooming in a limited capacity during this time, in hopes of being able to care for at least some dogs while navigating this situation. I truly appreciate your patience, understanding, and continued support during this unexpected time.

I hope everyone’s staying warm and safe after this weekend’s storm! 🥶
I’ll be back to work tomorrow, but I anticipate parking on many roads will not be possible due to the massive snowbanks and narrowly plowed roads. If your driveway is not cleared and there isn’t a safe place to park, your appointment will need to be rescheduled. Please let me know in advance if you think this may impact your pups upcoming appointment.
