Ms June worked along side everyone from the time Oak View Animal Clinic was started until March 2020 .

It is with heavy hearts and deep gratitude for a life well lived that we announce the passing of June Hope Johnson Sherman on April 3, 2026, at the age of 84, in Bentonville, Arkansas. June was born on June 27, 1941, to Oak and Edith Chrisman Johnson. She grew

⚠️ PUBLIC HEALTH NOTICE: Fayetteville Animal Services is alerting residents to a recent spike in Canine Distemper Virus (CDV) cases within the local raccoon population. While the virus does NOT pose a health threat to humans, it is contagious and potentially fatal for domestic dogs.

RECOGNIZING THE SIGNS:
• Disorientation: Raccoons appearing "drunk," stumbling or wandering aimlessly.
• Unusual Behavior: Being active during the day and showing no fear of humans or loud noises.
• Physical Symptoms: Discharge from the eyes or nose (looking like a "cold"), matted fur or seizures/tremors.

We have made a small adjustment to our schedule! Our late day will now be Thursdays until 6:30 PM instead of Tuesdays starting next week!

Our new office hours are:

Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday: 7:30 AM – 5:30 PM
Thursday: 7:30 AM – 6:30 PM
Saturday: 8:00 AM – 12:30 PM
