Hello everybody! Just letting you know we'll be making some improvements at the clinic. After 4 years of operation (and 6 years of Dr. Sorensen stressing about it) we're finally able to get our floors updated. Work will be starting Saturday and will continue through next week. The Humane Society has been kind enough to lend us their mobile clinic so we will still be able to see all our dear clients! Please bear with us and soon we'll be better than ever! Thanks and have an awesome Thanksgiving!

Thank you veterans!

Hello dear clients, we're touching base to let you know we are still open amid this COVID-19 event. We have temporarily suspended elective surgeries per AzVMA and local instructions, but we can still care for your animals. We are asking those who have appointments to remain in their vehicles and call when they arrive (928-474-9292). We will come out to consult with you and es**rt you inside one-at-a-time, if necessary. Please help us prevent the spread! Together we'll get through this! Thank you.

Hello! Just wanted to make sure all our dear clients are aware that Dr. Sorensen will be celebrating Christmas with her family, so Main Animal Hospital will be closed the 24th, 25th and 26th. Merry Christmas everyone!!
Also, the Hospital will be closed on new years day, Jan 1st. Sorry for any inconvenience.

We'd like to thank our technician, Shenia Wolf, for the excellent talk she gave for PAWS at the park tonight. She discussed animal behavior and how to introduce dogs to eachother at the dog park. Great work Shenia!

Hello dear clients! We will be closed in observance of Memorial Day on Monday, 28 May. Sorry for any inconvenience.
Please join us in taking a few minutes on Monday to remember and honor those who served and gave the ultimate sacrifice to preserve our way of life and the freedom of so many around the world. We give a heartfelt thanks to them (both human and canine) for protecting our liberty.

This young raven was found in Strawberry with a broken wing. While Dr. Sorensen and the staff were cleaning the wound they discovered a BB (or shot pellet) under the skin which may have caused the broken bone and ended up lodged where it can be seen in the radiograph. Please help educate others not to leave animals wounded. Suffering like this is unnecessary.

Hello everybody! We've added a new service to help make purchasing maintenance medications, prescription diets and other items for your cat or dog super convenient. It's our new online pharmacy! Follow the link below, or just choose the "Shop Now" button below our profile picture. There's also a link button on the "Services" tab of our website.

We know many of you may find it inconvenient to have to come to the hospital to get your supplies, so we've set up a method to have supplies and medications delivered right to your door! Simply shop and make purchases. If anything you're buying requires doctor approval we will be automatically notified so that your order can be verified and shipped quickly.

Of course, if you'd rather come visit us in person we're always happy to fill your prescriptions, sell you diets, etc. directly, just like we always have. We do encourage you to have a look, though. You just may find the selection and ease a benefit to you and your furry friends.

We see exotics and small wildlife too! Last week we had an owl rescue. This Great Horned Owl was entangled in a brarbed wire fence for many hours before being spotted by some concerned hikers and rescued by our friend John at Game and Fish. Dr. Sorensen had to surgically remove the wire from the owl's wing. She should be healed up and released soon.

Dr Sorenson is the best. She has always taken great care with our fur babies, just like they were her own. When we found out my Bear had an enlarged heart, she did everything she could to fix the problem and find out why. When he passed, she cried. When we brought our elderly fur baby kitty to be put down, she cried for us and herself then. She is a wonderful person and am greatly appreciative to her for all she does for my fur babies.
