In 2007 , Jenn Lombari held the first Punks For Pets event at The Livingroom in Providence, RI. Donations of pet food and supplies were given to Providence Animal Rescue League. Over the last few years, other events were held and recieved donations to help RI flood victims in 2010 as well as PALS Humane Society Gift and Thrift Shop. As Punks For Pets gains popularity every year, the bands have bec

ome a MIX of punk and other genres but that's okay with us! We are hoping to
make this year bigger and better and help the lives of as many animals as possible.

Update on 4 Year Old "Mello" :
He is ready to meet you and steal your heart!

It has been over 3 months of him waiting to meet someone just as excited to meet him. We know the right person will see this eventually so until then we will keep posting and we appreciate every share!

If you’ve ever wanted a dog whose entire personality is “happy to be here” you’re going to LOVE Steen. He is 55 pounds of pure joy, enthusiasm, and “did you say we’re doing something fun?!” energy. This is a dog who wakes up every day like it’s the best day of his life and honestly, he’s not wrong. His big smile, wagging tail, and “please love me immediately” face make Steen impossible not to fall for.
He absolutely loves people and is the kind of dog who assumes everyone he meets is his new best friend. Other dogs? Also best friends. Steen is social, playful, and always ready for a good time. Whether he’s running around with his dog buddies or just hanging out soaking up attention from his humans, Steen is happy just to be invited. PLEASE SHARE! 💙🐶

🆘 URGENT: Luna Needs an Adopter ASAP 🆘

🍭This sweet girl deserves so much more than uncertainty. 💔

🌙Meet LUNA — a 7 year old spayed English Bulldog who is full of personality, love, and goofy charm. She is very good with kids and dogs, loves to play, and is truly a happy gal despite everything happening around her.

🐾 Breed-experienced adopter needed

🏡Since Luna’s reasoning for needing a new home ASAP may leave room for speculation, it does not make her in need of an immediate foster or adoptive home any less urgent. We are focusing on just that by avoiding the “but what if’s”, “how come’s” and “but have they’s”.

⏳Time is of the essence. Luna is currently with the owner’s family member where they are not allowed dogs.

🙏Luna needs someone to step up for her NOW. She deserves stability, safety, and a family willing to give her the love she so clearly gives in return.
