Franny May update 💘
Most of our prayers were answered, Franny is home resting and expected to make a full recovery.
Unfortunately none of the piglets made it.
I just want to say thank you to our wonderful Vet. I don’t even know if she follows us but we appreciate her more than she knows.

Well I made this super cute photo yesterday when our Franny May began nesting and went into labor.
Unfortunately our bad luck saga continues. 💔
Franny May is in emergency surgery as we speak for a c-section. She labored most of the night with no progress. I just want my babygirl to be ok. We are hopeful and praying for piglets but at this point I just want Franny to get home safely.

Do we spy a milk line forming???🐽💘🐽💘🐽

Franny May here!

A week to a few days before piglets arrive pigs develop their milk lines! Which is when their mammary chain swells and begins to fill with milk. Most pigs follow this rule, although we’ve had some girls who don’t show at all and develop milk once in active labor. Their bodies are so interesting and in tune with nature. 🙂
