UPDATE: We now have 10 antique/classic/collector vehicles committed to honoring our veterans by providing them with rides in tomorrow morning’s parade. We hope the weather is favorable.
Thank you to Larry and Sheila Combs and their 1968 Ford Mustang California Special and 2019 Ford Mustang, Randy and Elaine Turner and their 1996 Ford F-150, Wayne Miller and his 2008 Ford Mustang, David Largent and his 1979 Pontiac Trans Am, John and Carli Malcolm and both of their 1968 Ford F-100s, Joe Via and his 1965 Pontiac GTO, Ken and Becky Pracht and their 1977 Oldsmobile Cutlass Supreme and 1969 Ford Mustang Mach 1.
UPDATE: As of today, five vehicles have been committed to providing our veterans a ride with the possibility of a sixth vehicle. A total of 10 vehicles are needed but it would be great to be able to provide a few more for any last minute needs. Please reach out if you are able to help with this. Thank you!
The Paw Paw American Legion will be having a parade on Monday, November 10th at 9:00 am to honor veterans. (This is the day before Veteran’s Day.)
Someone from the American Legion reached out and asked if any of the beautiful classic/antique cars and trucks from our show might participate by providing a veteran with a ride in the parade. Would any of you be interested in doing this?
Here is the information received so far:
The parade will begin at the Paw Paw American Legion at 9:00 am and proceed onto Henry W. Miller Highway toward the Veteran’s Monument beside the Bank of Romney. Participants will make a left turn onto Wi******er Street and continue through town. A left turn onto Moser Avenue will be made and then a right turn onto Paw Paw Schools’ campus. The parade will make two laps around the school and then participants will park for the veteran’s program at the school. After the program, drivers will return veterans to the Paw Paw American Legion.
If you are interested in providing a ride for a veteran in this parade or if you have any questions, please comment or send a message to this page.
