P.A.W.S. (Pauls Valley Animal Welfare Society) We support the Pauls Valley Animal Shelter by coordinating volunteers, sponsoring educational programs, and fundraising.

While the shelter intakes animals within Pauls Valley City Limits, our animal welfare resources extend to all of Garvin County. Our organization is made up of over 300 members who care about animals. It is an eclectic group varying in race, age, economic and professional levels and religious affiliations. We are, however, single-minded when confronting our community problems of animal cruelty and

neglect, overpopulation and the humane treatment in which our strays and homeless dogs and cats are housed. Our goal is to relieve their suffering, do everything in our power to find them homes and provide a decent animal shelter for Garvin County.

Harlem’s big day has finally come… she’s HOME! 🐾❤️

From the moment she arrived at the shelter, we knew this sweet girl had something special. Now, she’s leaving with a family who saw that sparkle too. No more kennel runs — just couch snuggles, backyard zoomies, and endless love ahead. 🏡✨

🚨 EMERGENCY PLEA 🚨

If you’ve ever considered adopting… or even just fostering… this is your sign.

Sixteen new animals came through our doors today alone. That’s sixteen little lives needing safety, love, and a place to land. With intake this high, we are dangerously close to not being able to sustain our no-kill status. This is something none of us want to face — and we can’t do it without you.

🐾 Short-term fosters – Give them a break from the shelter while they wait for a home.
🐾 Long-term fosters – Help them until adoption day.
🐾 Foster-to-adopt – Take them for a trial run and see if your heart says “forever.”

This thin, tired boy has clearly been through more than his fair share. His eyes and nose are sore, his body is worn down, and right now… the shelter is no place for him to rest.

Eufala needs a foster home where he can finally be warm, comfortable, and safe while his body heals. We’ll provide his medication, and we can send along any supplies you need. You just provide the love.
