Dr Carolyn Williams is a native of Pauls Valley, Oklahoma. After finishing an Agricultural Economics bachelor’s degree, Carolyn completed a doctorate degree from the College of Veterinary Medicine at Oklahoma State University in May 1989. Four months later she married her high school sweetheart, John. They designed, built and opened Williamsburg Small Animal Hospital in 1991. Her family’s expansion started in 1995; by 1999 they had 3 sons. She and John now have three wonderful daughter-in-laws and grandchildren are expanding the family tree.

Dr. Carolyn is a member of the Pauls Valley Rotary Club, the First United Methodist Church where she teaches Sunday school, the Pauls Valley Animal Welfare Society, and she donates hours of her time to the Pauls Valley Animal Shelter. She is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association and Oklahoma Veterinary Medical Association. Her best friends are a border collie named Preacher and cat named Ashley. Dr Carolyn loves practicing small animal medicine but has a passion for cattle and continues to work on the family farm with her husband and sons. The farm is now being managed by the fourth generation that is raising their family in the 120 year old farmhouse where her dad was born and where she was raised. She also loves spending time with her family, working on the ranch, and spending time outdoors.

LPN to Dog Groomer

Hi everyone! My name is Erin Dixon. I am a new dog groomer thanks to the inspiration from a dear friend that groomed my personal dogs. I have been an LPN since 2001 and needed a change. See, my husband and I lost our only son Conrad Sawyer Dixon in 2013 at the age of 7. After the loss of Conrad, I found it diffcult to work as a nurse. Caring for others and being in the medical setting was taking a toll on me. I have always loved animals, especially dogs! I decided to go to dog grooming school and here we are! I now have a new place to direct my nurturing love and creativity!

Thanks to a high school friend I have an amazing logo for my business that helps pay tribute to Conrad and a couple of my favorite things! Conrad always had a red mohawk, loved AC/DC and wanted the “tinest, whitest, fluffiest dog ever”! So, the logo includes a white pomeranian, red mohawk and AC/DC font. Conrad planned on naming his tiny white dog “Fluffball”. Now I have a tiny white dog named Fluffball, hence the name “What The Fluff”. At What The Fluff we are all about some rock-n-roll, laughing and all things dog!
