The stitches were removed on Wednesday. BabyGirl no longer wears the bubble and I’m amazed at how cooperative she’s being. This will be the challenging stage - where she feels she’s ready to do all things she’s not supposed to do. She relaxes in the play pen and sleeps in her crate at bedtime. A short lead is mandatory since she wants to run. BabyGirl is getting extra bone broth - I’d say about 3/4 cup with her meals. She’s getting goat milk kefir to help restore her gut health after taking antibiotics. We need the good bacteria to create a healthy gut. And she’s also getting a higher dose of CBD oil for bone healing and keeping her calm. I stopped giving her Carprofen around the 10 day mark and skipped the Trazadone all together.

BabyGirl thanks everyone for their well wishes. We’re past 1 week post-op. Extra bone broth (mommy messed up a huge batch which they end up getting) along with extra CBD oil for bone healing. Stitches get removed next week. She has been such a good girl which has made this whole ordeal bearable.
