Chomper and Spike. These Ackie monitors were from the same litter but it's crazy how different their patterns are! Chomper is on the left and Spike the right. Who's pattern do you prefer? Happy Monday!

If you like energy then and Ackie Monitor AKA spinytailed monitor might just be the best bet for you! I'm trying to capture a good picture of Ducky while Jordan is just enjoying her crawling all over 😂 These monitors are super high energy and in my opinion super fun, I can't help but laugh at how many pictures I took and she just kept moving 🤣🤣

Here's a comparison of a months worth of shed between some of our animals 😂😂 Top is Ray our Australian Shepherd. Bottom left is our All American Mutt, Ember. And on the bottom right is our Boa Imperator, Shanti.

We got some eggs from Nala!! Most of them look like slugs unfortunately, but we'll incubate them anyways. Second picture is Nala and dad Simba. We bought these 2 as adults in April of this year so we weren't really expecting anything from them until next year, but here we are with a few eggs! The previous owners, Reptile Mogul, said they are amelanistic and het mystery. We wonder what the mystery is!

We are so excited to announce that we have Shanti's permanent enclosure set up!! She's been in here for about a week now and seems to really enjoy it (as much as you can tell with a snake). She explores during the night and every morning we find her perched in a different spot. How quick did you find her in the photos? Do you like her new enclosure?

The colors on the Ackies always look brightest after we mist them. Honestly this photo doesn't do justice to the reds on Ducky! Little Foot is usually hiding when we mist the enclosure, but Ducky is usually out and doesn't mind the spray. Today she thought the spray nozzle was food 😆

We found another king snake in our yard tonight! We could tell this one is different because he had a big scar on his head and was smaller. I think I said this before but I'm really enjoying seeing all these reptiles lately and they've all been while going about our regular activities! We spotted him while walking out to our garden! I spotted the desert iguana while driving to my parents house on their road. And I found a gopher snake trying to cross the road while I was driving around with my mom.

Anyone ever seen a desert iguana in the wild? Well now you've seen a picture of one! 🙃 This was captured in Tucson, AZ. I wish it was better quality but this little guy was fast so I couldn't get very close!

I saw this guy at work again this week! I love seeing all of the reptiles coming out during the warmer months and the colors on collared lizards are amazing!!
