We posted about calcium and now we’re back with another incredibly important(but simple) reptile care tip.

UVB helps reptiles produce vitamin D3, which allows their bodies to properly absorb and use calcium. Without adequate UVB, even a reptile receiving calcium in its diet may not be able to use that calcium effectively.

Depending on your pet’s needs, we have varying intensities of bulb available and lots of different light fixtures to choose from! These bulbs don’t last forever, so we recommend swapping them out annually or before if you notice output decreasing 🐢🐍🦎

He’s a Black-capped lorikeet and he is extremely friendly! They can be great talkers, adorably fun, and over-all just an amazing companion for someone.
