This one's for the financially savvy dog parents who think the cheaper option is always the better option... or who think they can skip professional help with the basics.
I promise you, one of the best investments you can make is working with a good trainer BEFORE the problems get bigger, become habits, and take longer (and cost more) to fix.

😏The best ROI is solid training from the start—not restarting later, managing preventable behaviors for years, or hoping the problem magically goes away.

🫨And no, most things aren't "just a phase." That's one of the biggest myths in dog training. Dogs don't suddenly calm down at 2 years old. What usually happens is that by age 2, you've adapted your lifestyle around behaviors you've been living with since puppyhood.

🪠Don't wait for the pipe to burst. When you see the leak, that's the time to get help.
Your future self—and your dog—will thank you.

Most of our dogs who try to jump are very misunderstood. I am very passionate about it because I myself have a dog who has been "embarrassing" and would jump and pull on leash to get to guests 😅🫣

Instead of correcting them constantly, it's much better to correct them once for the behavior you know they're about to do and then be able to train them to do the behavior you want to see.

I don't believe in correcting a dog for a behavior if you've never showed them what to do instead. ALSO if your guests are baiting them & teasing them or saying it's ok if they do this.

I truly believe you don't need any other tools besides a correctly fitted collar and leash that's the right length. Without learning how to use these tools they can be misused and cause frustration for you and your dog.

Structured dayCAMP > free fall daycare
✨🐾🏕️Our dayCAMP program is designed for dogs longing for more engagement and enhancement on their basic training. An environment where they can continue maturing, developing training, and enhancing their social skills. We provide positive socialization, neutrality and confidence building around other dogs, different environments, people and much more.

Safety is our 1️⃣ priority. 🤯Every single one of the dayCAMPERS have been evaluated and earned entry in.

🎾We do have toys, feed treats, etc. We aren’t grouping dogs based off of energy levels, size or breed. We are specifically grouping based off their level of basic listening and maturity.

📸Besides the portrait pictures and videos. We are educating you on your dogs behavior within a group of dogs.

💉Distemper, Parvo, Bordetella & Rabies vaccines up to date.
💩Proof of a negative f***l sample within the month.

🔑Here’s the key to preventing pulling:

If you let your puppy pull on a collar during walks, you’re accidentally teaching them that pressure = go forward.
🤯Over time, they’ll get stronger, ignore the collar, and you’ll need more force just to keep control.

🤩Do it right from the start, and you won’t need to rely on harsher tools later.
A properly fitted collar and harness aren’t just about comfort—they shape how your dog learns to move through the world.

‼️Use the collar during training moments like “sit,” “stay,” and learning calm focus. That’s where guidance and clear communication matter most.

🦮Switch to the harness for walks and social time—when your pup should explore, move freely, and just be a dog.

Train with intention. Walk with freedom. Your dog will thank you for it. 🐕✨

“Don’t worry, they’re friendly!”
Respectfully… that means nothing to me.
Friendly doesn’t equal trained.
Friendly doesn’t equal safe.
And friendly definitely doesn’t mean my dog is ready to meet yours.
One of our biggest rules at The Path Pups:
We don’t do on-leash greetings with random dogs. Ever.
Because safety > assumptions.
Because advocacy > awkwardness.
Because your dog deserves a handler who sets clear boundaries.
The most confident, well-trained dogs you’ll see?
They’re not saying hi to every dog they pass.
Be the person your dog can trust to say “no.” 🐾
