Do you see the difference with Chip socializing now with Biberty and Tiger? Socialization is so important! It doesn’t take that long to show them that they don’t have to be scared. It’s a conquer your fear thing, then you see things become enjoyable. If you “baby” your puppy too much, you may have problems later on in life. You can still baby your puppy, but make sure to socialize way beyond this part too!

This is Little “Chip O Toole’s” pep talk about his introduction to the older girls that are in the cool club. He’s about to be let loose with 2 of them for the first time. It’s a part of socialization. He and all puppies need this. We go about things like a Montessori school. The older ones teach the younger ones.

We hope everyone had a wonderful National Dog Day, everyone! We celebrate National Dog Day, every day! This is the day Caesar went home! These two little boy scouts are the ones that helped me name this lilac litter. They are the ones that helped me name Strawberry Starlight, Wrinkles and Crochet. They happen to also love foxes and got to see one of our red foxes too. Somethings always happening here at Camp Callahan. 😂

Our old girl, Doda Pop, is still going strong! We have to carry her up the stairs, but other than that, she’s doing pretty well! She loves to hang out by concrete statue. I walk right past her thinking she’s a statue. I’d love to have a bronzed statue of her to put in that same spot that she loves to sit in. I think a bronzed statue would complement her chocolate color.
