Bringing your pet’s stool sample to the vet’s office for an annual f***l exam is an essential component of their routine, preventative care. A pet f***l exam is a close-up inspection of your pet’s p**p! While your pet’s bowel movements may look fine on the surface, f***l tests detect intestinal parasites that cannot be seen by the naked eye. If parasites are found, we can start treating your pet before more serious complications occur. Many parasites can also be passed to people, so it is important to take this preventative step! CAN YOU FIND THE FOXTAIL?

Foxtail season is upon us.
Dr. Swan removed this one from a patients eye just last week.

Please remember that these sneaky things can work their ways into almost every part of the body... and yes we mean EVERY part.

They can get stuck in the nose, eyes, ears, feet, throat, and everywhere in between. If not removed immediately these guys can travel into the body creating painful wounds and infections the require surgical repair.
