🐾 IMPORTANT UPDATE FROM THE MISFIT MUTT 🐾

We have a little update! Unfortunately, this Saturday, August 15th, will be my final day operating out of the Pascagoula location.

Before anyone worries — everything with me and baby girl is just fine! ❤️ They just want me to limit my activity a little more as we get closer to her arrival, so I'm going to listen to them and take it a bit easier.

I have very limited availability left for Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday, so if your pup needs to get in before I close the Pascagoula salon, now is the time!

I will also be reaching out personally to everyone who currently has an appointment scheduled over the next few weeks to get you rescheduled.

For the final two weeks, I will be doing a very limited number of grooms from home for those who absolutely need to get their babies taken care of. These appointments will be scheduled by phone only so I can carefully manage my schedule and activity level.

Thank you all so much for your patience, understanding, and continued support while I navigate this last little stretch before baby girl makes her appearance. 🥹💕🐾

They’re wonderful, and I trust them to take good care of your babies while I’m away. ❤️ If you need a groomer during my time off, definitely give them a call and show them some love!

Unfortunately, The Misfit Mutt Pet Grooming will be closed today.

With the roofing work that's been going on recently, combined with last night's heavy rain, we've ended up with a few leaks that caused part of the ceiling to come down, leaving insulation and quite a mess behind.

The safety of our clients, their pets, and our team always comes first, so we'll be spending today getting everything cleaned up, repaired, and safe for everyone to return.

We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience and appreciate your patience and understanding. We plan to be back open tomorrow and can't wait to see all of your sweet babies then! ❤️🐾

📢 A New Chapter for The Misfit Mutt Pet Grooming! 🐾💜

As many of you know, our sweet baby girl will be here soon! Because of that, The Misfit Mutt Pet Grooming will be closed for the entire month of September while I take maternity leave to recover, spend time with my family, and soak up all those precious newborn snuggles.

Now for the next big announcement...

Beginning in October, The Misfit Mutt Pet Grooming will officially be relocating to Lucedale, Mississippi!

First, I want to say thank you from the bottom of my heart to every single one of my Pascagoula clients. You've supported my small business, trusted me with your fur babies, and helped make this dream possible. I truly appreciate every one of you.

I know many of you may be wondering what this means, but I want you to know I'm not leaving my Pascagoula clients behind! ❤️

Here's the plan:

🚐 FREE Pickup & Drop-Off Service for Pascagoula Clients

To make the transition as easy as possible, I'll be offering complimentary transportation on a rotating schedule.

🐾 Week 1: Friday morning pickups between 7:00 AM and 8:30 AM, with your pets returning home that evening after their appointments.

🐾 Week 2: Saturday morning pickups between 7:00 AM and 8:30 AM, with evening drop-offs.

Then the schedule will continue alternating Fridays and Saturdays each week.

Your pets' safety and comfort are my highest priority. My vehicle is air-conditioned, and every pet will either ride comfortably in a secure kennel or safely buckled in with a pet seatbelt.

Because of the travel involved, appointments will need to be booked in advance and clients will need to remain on a regular grooming schedule. Unfortunately, I won't be able to accommodate last-minute appointments on transportation days.

This move is an exciting new chapter for my family, and I'm so grateful that I can continue serving the wonderful clients who have supported me over the past year. Thank you for your patience, understanding, and continued trust.

I can't wait to welcome everyone back after maternity leave and continue pampering your babies—even if it means a little road trip for me! 🐶💜

💜 One last thing! I'll be grooming here in Pascagoula through August 29th before I begin maternity leave. If your baby is due for a spa day before I'm out for September, now is the time to get on the schedule! Appointments are already filling quickly, and I'd hate for anyone to miss out before my leave.

🌧️🐾 Important Weather Update 🐾🌧️

The safety of our clients, your fur babies, and our team will always come first.

Due to Tropical Storm Bertha moving into our area, The Misfit Mutt will be CLOSED tomorrow (Wednesday). We don't want anyone feeling like they have to get out on the roads or travel in potentially dangerous weather just to make an appointment.

Please stay safe, stay dry, and take this time to enjoy some extra snuggles with your four-legged family members. ❤️🐶🐱

🐾📸 Picture Catch-Up Day! 📸🐾

It's been a little while since I've shared all these adorable faces, so get ready for lots of puppy spam today! 🥹💛 We've had so many sweet babies in the salon lately, and I can't wait to show them off!

💗 A little life update...

Pregnancy is definitely getting a little more challenging these days, so to make sure I can continue giving every pup the care and attention they deserve, we'll be making a few temporary schedule changes.

📅 Beginning July 30th, we will be CLOSED every Thursday until further notice.

And... we officially have Miss JoAnna's arrival date! 🍼💕 She'll be making her debut on September 3rd, and we couldn't be more excited!

✨ August 29th will be our last day in the salon before I begin maternity leave. We plan to be closed for the month of September, and my goal is to return in October. I'll be sure to keep everyone updated as we get closer.

If you're wanting your pup groomed before my leave, I highly recommend booking sooner rather than later. My schedule will be more limited as we get closer to September, and appointments will fill quickly.

Just a friendly reminder that Tuesdays are the day I come in a little later due to an in-home grooming appointment I do for an elderly client in Lucedale. We will be opening a little later this morning, but we'll be ready to get your babies looking their best as soon as we're in! 🐶✂️

📅 Also, a quick scheduling update:

This week is filling up FAST! While the online scheduler may show multiple openings right now, that doesn't necessarily mean they'll still be available later.

To make things a little easier on me during pregnancy, I'm limiting the number of dogs I take each day Tuesday through Friday. Once I reach that number, the rest of the day gets blocked off and no additional appointments can be booked.

So if you've been thinking about scheduling your pup, don't wait too long! 🐾❤️
