Starting tomorrow at 5 p.m., our Traveling Adoption Trailer will be stationed at Theodore Church of God located at 6360 Theodore Dawes Rd. This trailer is available to house the dogs of those people sheltering during the cold weather this week. 🐶

The adoption trailer is fully heated and cooled. Food and water will also be provided for the dogs.

For information about cold weather shelters, keeping your pet in Animal Services’ trailer, and transportation to cold weather shelters, please call 211. ❄️

As temperatures drop dangerously low throughout much of the U.S. tonight, and persisting for days, you must have a plan in place to keep these animals warm and safe.

Make sure everyone has shelter from freezing temperatures, wind chill and ice, and be aware of other hazards that can harm animals such as rock salt and antifreeze.
