Meet Enzo — the cutest water-loving boy ever!
He’s ready for a summer of sunshine, splashing in the pool, and making joyful memories. Watching him play—dunking his head and chomping at the water—you see a dog who truly lives in the moment.

But time is running out.

When a volunteer came to return him to his kennel, Enzo gently pressed his face into her, quietly asking for just a little more time. In a place where human affection doesn’t come often, even small moments mean the world. Please consider fostering or adopting Enzo. Give him not just a summer of happiness—but a lifetime filled with love.

This one hurts. Oscar has been let down before, but now he needs us more than ever. He’s in urgent need of FHO (femoral head ostectomy) surgery to relieve constant pain — a surgery that could finally give him the comfort he’s long been denied.

Despite everything, Oscar remains gentle, loving, and full of spirit. He doesn’t ask for much — just kindness, affection, and a chance. He’s the kind of soul who still believes in people, even when he has every reason not to.

Update 6/9: Astro has been adopted 🥳 thank you to the adopters & everyone who shared this post!

It’s hard to understand how Astro is still at the shelter, waiting. He’s a truly special pup — gentle, loving, and always eager to greet you with a wag and a smile. Can’t forget his happy hops either! You have to see him do it in person.

He has some ongoing eye issues, but don’t let that stop you — once you meet him, you’ll see he’s worth every bit of care. Astro is friendly with everyone he meets and carries a warm, joyful spirit.

He’s hoping for a home where he can be your loyal solo sidekick. A place to feel safe, loved, and finally home. Help us share this handsome boy’s story.

Update 6/8: Sugar has been adopted! 🥳 thank you to her adopters & everyone who shared the post!

Sugar is just a young pup, yet she’s already facing a tough battle. She’s fighting off worms, coccidia, and an upper respiratory infection — all common for shelter babies, but still a lot for such a small girl.

While the shelter does its best, it’s not the right place for a fragile pup to fully heal. What Sugar really needs is a quiet, safe space to rest, recover, and grow strong.

She deserves a real chance — can anyone help her get it?

At just 11 months old, George is already the second longest resident at the shelter — and he’s still just a puppy. As time passes, the stress begins to show. George longs for simple things: a gentle touch, a warm cuddle, playtime, and fresh air — things that are rare in an overcrowded shelter.

He’s dog-friendly, incredibly sweet, and always ready with a kiss. (You know you want puppy kisses 😘) He just needs someone to believe in him. If you can’t foster or adopt, please share. George’s time is running out, but your voice might be the one that saves him. He’s more than worth it.

Sky has already been through more than most. Found by a kind stranger after being hit by a car, she was likely lost, scared, and searching for a family that never came. In her confusion, she didn’t see the danger coming..

Despite everything, Sky remains gentle and full of quiet hope. Her injured leg keeps her from moving much—she spends her days lying down or limping, waiting for comfort and care.

She’s still so young, with a life full of love ahead of her. All she needs is someone to see her strength and give her the second chance she deserves.

Tango has become the shelter’s longest resident—simply because no one has chosen him yet. Day after day, he watches people pass by, his eyes lighting up with hope each time, only for it to fade as he’s led back to the same kennel he’s known for far too long.

He’s young, full of life—sweet, spirited, playful. There’s so much joy in him just waiting to be shared. But the shelter isn’t where he’s meant to grow up. Tango deserves more than waiting. He deserves a home. He’s waited long enough.

Thiago’s smile in this photo radiates hope — but behind that moment of joy is a dog struggling to hold it together. Once back inside his kennel, the weight of shelter life begins to bring him down. Stress looks different for every dog, but for Thiago, it’s slowly dimming his light.

Thiago is a gentle, loving soul with so much to give. He just needs someone patient and kind to help him become his best version. With the right person to guide him, he has so much potential. There’s something incredibly powerful about watching a dog blossom because you gave them a chance.

But time is wearing on him. For over a month and a half, he’s lived in the same kennel, overlooked by countless visitors. Still, he waits—with quiet hope—for someone to choose him.

All Gaia longs for is love—a gentle hand, a quiet moment, a place to feel safe. When I visited her at the shelter, she leaned into my touch like it was something she’d been starved for. There was a soft sadness in her eyes, a mix of hope and hesitation. She was timid, unsure—but who could blame her? She’s been in the shelter far too long. And maybe, somehow, she sensed I couldn’t take her with me..

Gaia is pure sweetness—a tender soul wrapped in quiet resilience. She came in as a stray, and it’s hard to know if she’s ever truly known what love feels like. But she deserves to.

Please don’t let her keep waiting. Open your heart, and give Gaia the chance to finally come home. ❤️
