We added several new faces to our community housing today! 😻

All of these adults are ready to go home! Fixed, chipped, vaccinated, combo tested, treated for parasites, and ready to bust out of the shelter! 🐾

Stop by and meet them, any day from 8am-1pm! We have SEVERAL young kittens available still as well. Including chocolates🍫

Charlie 🖤

Around 1.5 years old, this young guy still has so much s***k. His favorite pass time is to play with all of the stuffy toys he can get his paws on. 🤭

He is house trained, crate trained, knows basic commands, walks well on a leash, loves dogs, pays no attention to cats and kids are great!! Total package. 📦

Charlie is a rottweiler mix so he is a very beefy boy. 🥩 He is very gentle considering and seems to know his limits. Charlie is available for adoption and/or foster! 🐾

Stop by any day, 8am-1pm to meet him!

Formally introducing- Jack! 🐾

This big guy, estimated around 7 years old, is such a kind soul. He loves to show off his big voice and be wherever the other dogs are! Unfortunately cats are big no for him, but kids and dogs are great!! 🤩

Jack has good leash manners, seems to be completely house trained, and really is such a gentle guy. 🥺

This scruffy dude is officially ready for his forever home!🏡

He pays no attention to cats, does great with dogs similar in size, loves kiddos and all humans!

He is house trained, crate trained on command, knows several basic commands, and is overall happiest after his walks, rolling on a pile of fuzzy blankets. 🤣 Ask any of the staff…they probably have a pic or 2 lol

PUPDATE- His owner is on the way to him now❤️ We are so sorry that we totally quickly missed “Groot” in the heat of the moment. He was so familiar!

This dog was found laying at the bottom of the dam in Davis. Concerned folks called Animal Control after seeing him there for at least 2 days. He is a neutered male, wearing a collar “I am Groot”. He is not microchipped.

A HUGE thank you to the Davis Volunteer Fire Department and the Town of Davis workers who responded immediately and jumped right into action. They were over the bank, across the river, and assisting in his safety with zero hesitation. Thank you for all of your efforts to continue to keep our community safe- 2 legs or 4! ❤️wse

Baxter’s stray hold is officially up. We are amazed that no one came forward missing him…he is perfect! 🥹Completely house trained (goes to the door and whines, he knows what he’s doing), crate trained, LOVES other dogs, pays zero attention to cats, is so gentle with little kids, knows sit, shake (with both paws), lay down, “kennel”, stay, he’s awesome! ⭐️

He was someone’s boy…but now he’s looking for a new home. One where he can showcase his good looks and smart brain and never spend another night being chased by loud scary cars. 🏡

Baxter was checked out by a vet who thinks he a 2-3 year old, weimaraner mix. He is overall very healthy! 🩺✔️

These sweet pups are so close to being ready to going to their furever homes!💕

They are growing so fast and momma is getting tired.😅

They are doing well on wet puppy food
and mixing some hard slowly. We are in need of some more of that also! Purina puppy chow (wet & dry)🦴
