This sweet girl came in with her brother, Dots. They are both so sweet, she seems to be the spunkier of the two. 🤪

She has done amazing in community housing with other kitty friends, doesn’t seem too bothered by dogs, loves snuggles and curling up in the cat trees. 🥹 If you’re looking for a kitty who will keep you entertained but will chill whenever you’re ready, Boots may be your gal! ✨

PUPDATE- Honzo is claimed! Now let’s share for Sage❣️

🐾Shelter Shepherd Party🐾

Shepherd lovers, rescues, we need you!! The shelter is no place for any dog, but it’s even harder on breeds that rely on human guidance and companionship to thrive. We currently have two shepherds, one male and one female that are both incredible dogs, just handed an unfortunate start to life.

Sage was adopted but recently returned due to being not safe around chickens. 😔She cannot go to a home with small animals, and large dogs must be tested as well. She did amazingly well with the directors male shepherd and she also loves Honzo. She gets along well with another large male here at the shelter as well. Unfortunately she’s just selective, which is totally okay! Potential adopters just need to be prepared to do meet and greets with other large dogs in the home!

Next up, Honzo! He was brought in as a stray and never reclaimed, so he is now available for adoption. This guy is SO smart! He knows sit, shake, lay down and stay like a total champ! His leash manners aren’t the best, so we feel he was trained off leash maybe? Staff has been working on improving his manners in that department and he’s a very fast learner. He also got along great with the directors male shepherd and keeps a respectful pace beside/behind him on the leash. He wants to wrestle and romp and play sooo desperately with other dogs!! 🥹

If you can’t adopt, maybe you could give these guys even a short break from kennel life! Please tag rescues as well ❣️❣️

This old man is spending his golden years in a kennel and he deserves so much more. He can get along with large, polite dogs. Small animals are a no-no, but kids are the best and he lovesssss to give love. 🥺

Roscoe is often found sprawled out, sunbathing. ☀️ Outside time is his favorite and he loves to walk. Being 12 years old does not slow this guy down!

We are told his a hound/pit mix and is around 12 years old. His adoption fee is completely sponsored! He has spent lots of time on vacations with one of our volunteers who would be happy to tell you about his personality outside of the shelter! He’s completely housetrained and rides in the car like a total champ! 🤩🤩

Today makes day 296 inside the shelter for Trixie. ❤️‍🩹❤️‍🩹

She deserves to break out of here so bad! She gets along well with other dogs, loves kids and all humans, loves going on car rides and rides extremely well, leash manners are good, she’s such a snuggly girl!!

Can you even give Trixie a few day vacation?! Reach out!

This pretty girl is as friendly as they come! She loves all dogs, she wants to play with them so desperately! She does need to go to a home with no cats it seems, but other dogs and kids are great!

Weighing around 40 pounds, she’s a smaller girl. She LOVESSSS her outside time and going on long walks, then snuggling up together with a buddy after to chill. 🥹

BooBear is spayed, microchipped, combo tested, vaccinated and treated for internal/external parasites! 🦠 She is ready to go home❣️ Adoption fee is $100🤍
