From our Past Client The Carters Reference Bill and Summer are the best! We met Bill and Summer about 2 months ago when searching for our next puppy. We got a prompt response once we contacted them, and they welcomed us into their kennel to see the new litter that was just born. That is when we met Hank, our newest member of the family! Bill and Summer were very informative about their dogs, and were very clear on health information of the dog pedigree. These dogs are amazing dogs, Bill and Summer truly care about each and every one of them. Over the 8 weeks of waiting for Hank to be old enough to go home with us, Bill and Summer did a great job of keeping us updated with plenty of pictures; they even invited us over to see the puppies first time outside at 6 weeks old! We highly recommend Rathbone Kennels to anyone interested in having an extremely intelligent, healthy, loving, and good looking GSD! We took Hank back for all his training and we love the Training and Pet Boarding He Received by Bill and Summer

I bought a male German Shepherd pup from Rathbone kennels/ Rathbone Shepherds K9s two years ago. He is absolutely gorgeous. He has the best disposition. He loves kids and gets along great with my other dogs and cats. I would definitely recommend Rathbone Shepherds K9s I live in Alaska and Bill and Summer were great to work with. I was a little scared about sending money out of state for a pup but they were awesome. I would buy another pup from them in a heart beat.

What do you do when you can’t find a trainer with the ethics you like? You could take matters into your own hands like William Rathbone and become an unordinary dog trainer.

William Rathbone, Bill, has been training his own dogs and others for ten years. After completing dog obedience trainer/instructor classes through Penn Foster, Bill studied different methods from various trainers and made them this own. With his wife, Summer, who’s studying to be a veterinarian technician, and their children, Bill trains dogs at his home in Townville.
