Gem State Stock Horse Association is doing some really neat stuff. This is one of our new programs!

We are excited to announce the launch of our Youth Apprenticeship Program!

This unique opportunity is designed for youth ages 12–19 who are interested in gaining a behind-the-scenes look at the many career opportunities within the Reined Cow Horse community. Apprentices will have the chance to learn from industry professionals, build valuable connections, and gain hands-on experience during our July Show.

Following our July Show, we will also award scholarships to outstanding apprentices in recognition of their hard work, dedication, and participation.

I am so proud of my Scooter Kat 4yo! “Scoot it or lose it” won the herd work at Nampa today. He’s a great horse and I am grateful to have him in my program. Thank you Buddy Wilton and Shay Doll!
