We talk to people every day about the joys of being a breeder and rescue for animals. The cute faces and pictures, the funny antics, and the joys of watching births and hatchings. Then the smiles on the faces of humans as they get to hold and play with animals, adopt their new friends, and learn and grow with them.
The part we don't talk about is the hours spent worrying and caring for our sick friends, numerous trips to the vets, rounds of injections and antibiotics, not to mention the costs. And even after all that time and energy, not all of our friends make it. Sometimes the vet has to put our friend out of its painful misery. Sometimes we lose an animal for no apparent reason and no explanation.

Maggie is one of our dogs. She is not one of our typical reptile rescues, but she IS a rescue. She is about 7 years old now and she is a very happy girl with a whole lot of personality. She loves everybody and everyone loves her. Unfortunately, she is in need of a surgery called TPLO (Tibial Plateau Leveling Osteotomy) AKA ACL surgery. This will cost approximately $5500. So, once again, we are asking for help from our friends and supporters. All donations would be greatly appreciated. Any donations over $100 will receive a Connellys Chaotic Critters Tote Bag. We are a reptile breeding and rescue company. While we started as a breeder, the rescue side has taken over. We currently care for 275+ animals. We have snakes, geckos, bearded dragons, iguanas and chameleons, not to mention our 3 dogs and a cat that are also rescues.
We are way beyond our capacity and are looking for loving homes for these pets. We will be lowering our rehoming fees (usually $100 standard fee) for most of these animals.
