Last weekend I got to attend a NAVHDA Invitational training event. It was totally worth the drive. A bunch of very accomplished trainers, handlers, and judges all helping each other out. I tried to take in as much as I could. I had a great time talking bird dogs, I learned a whole bunch, and I found a couple holes in our game that we need to correct. We’ve been putting in a lot of effort to iron out the kinks to give us the best chance at success in New Mexico.

Murphy and I took a trip to Platte River NAVHDA in Nebraska to run him in the NAVHDA Gun Dog Test. Murph handled very nicely all day and we ended the trip with a GDT Prize 1! Atta boy, Murph!
