Here’s the last of the line, Jake, big fox red boy. He is now 10. He continues to be an affectionate best friend companion to all my family.

Thank you all for your inquiries and support in Labrador Crossing.
Due to Jake's seizure last summer, I will not be breeding in his line. He just had the one seizure, but it was severe. He recovered quickly and is enjoying life chasing rabbits and retrieving his ball.
He is a great companion and my BFF.
I am sorry I cannot accommodate the wishes of so many to continue his line.

Labrador Crossing specialized in a true 'Red Fox' color.

AKC recognizes fox red as 'yellow', just as chocolate is registered as 'black'.

These pictures give a good representation of the deep red.
When siring with another Fox Red, the litter will usually dominate reds. We had 100% reds when both mom and dad were fox red. If bred with yellow, chances are good of some reds.

Depending on the lineage, all 5 colors can be in the same litter: yellow, fox red, chocolate, black and silver. We had one litter that was picture perfect: 2 black, 2 chocolate, 2 red, 2 yellow; from a yellow mom and black dad.

Jake is now 5 years old! Loving, family dog that just needs to be with us for his happiness! He brings so much joy to our lives everyday! He works in my office and follows me during chores! He is now gearing up to be my snowshoe and hiking partner. He has learned to carry his backpack and travel in my backseat!
He loves his frisbee and ball play time! Just like his mom and grandma. We miss our 4 gals so! But, everyday, I enjoy Jake, I am remembering and enjoying our 15 1/2 years with his family: our beloved Sundance, Cassidy, Dylan and Ashley.
We are looking for AKC bi***es this spring, summer and early fall to mate. I have several current and previous owners that are looking for another family member is our line.
