DOG GONE LUCKY Rescue is a volunteer, non-profit, no-kill, dog rescue organization. At DOG GONE LUCKY Rescue, we are committed to the recovery, rescue and the rehabilitation of dogs that are currently in public shelters. Most of these dogs are in high risk of being euthanased due to the overpopulation, danger and neglect in the shelters. We depend on the thoughtfulness and charitableness of animal
lovers who open their hearts and homes to dogs in need. All of our dogs are accommodated into nurturing foster homes. These amazing foster families take great care of their foster dogs, while they are looking to be adopted into their forever home. While the dogs are in our care they are neutered, spayed, microchipped, and vaccinated. All dogs in distress are supported regardless of the dog's age, breed, temperament. After a thorough adoption procedure has taken place, the dog being adopted is placed into their loving permanent home. DOG GONE LUCKY Rescue takes pride in matching and educating prospective adopters about this commitment. We will educate the adopter about the responsibilities and costs of bringing a dog into the new owners lives and homes. We are committed to the welfare of our dogs, even beyond the adoption process, by following up with each adopter to ensure the transition is smooth, and assist in positive training techniques.
