Sevetal people are seeing this post pop up and have some questions. I made these 2 years ago. So here’s the directions! 🐰❤️
My chocolate Easter bunnies! These were so much fun to make and I love how they all look on my mantel!! Everything from Dollar Tree except the paint. 🐰💗🐰
I used the Dollar Tree plastic bunnies and spray painted them with 2 coats. The spray paint came from Michael’s, but I’ve seen at Joann’s and Hobby Lobby. After they dried I sprayed with mod podge spray.
After I put them back together, they just snap together. I glued them on to a wooden square from DT that I painted and used as their base.
Then I used paint pens for their features. I got these on Amazon. There’s a picture of them.
Last is the bow and all ribbon came from DT. Very easy to make bow, just like the viral styrofoam hearts. Cut several strips of different ribbon, all the same size. Fold over each end to the middle and glue together. Then you just layer and glue them all together the way you like.

My first and last craft show today! 😂 A young couple with a baby all wrapped up in a bear suit (so cute!!) walked by and did a double take at the angels. I asked if they like angels. She said “my grandmas in the hospital and my mom said she needs something pretty to look at”. I said what’s her favorite color? She said “blue”. I handed her one, turned on the lights and said “I hope she gets better soon, Merry Christmas!” They both burst out crying. She hugged me. I could not have felt more rich if I had sold out. 🥰

Made these for my coworkers. Everything but EOS lipbalm from Dollar Tree. I'm posting this because I went from store to store searching for cellophane to wrap them in. I ended up back at Dollar Tree and bought a clear shower curtain. You guys!!! I will never use cellophane again. Works and looks way better. Plus the shower curtains at Dollar Tree are so thin. Perfect for wrapping. I wrapped 8 and still have half the curtain.

My husband's veterans day wreath for his classroom 🇺🇲. I ran out of mesh so I made a last minute bow. It's not the best but it got the job done to filling the space, add note I suck at making bows. Still working on his candy canes.

Ok everyone! Here it the final product! Thank you all so much for the comments! I love this group! So, I painted some beads the same color as the welcome sign and am using them as the hanger. I added a palm leaf and fern, and put some lace ribbon over the middle burlap!

Our Story

Owned and operated by Ralph & Donna Quillin & Son Vince Grupposo, Quillin Leather & Tack is a full service tack and leather goods shop and the largest "custom shops" in the nation. They take pride in their craftsmanship and it shows. Halters are made in small batches and their "made to order" philosophy sets them apart as a provider of quality leather goods and service world wide.

Quillin’s has been in business since 1982, based out of their Main St. shop in Paris, KY. On average they make over 17,000 halters a year with 20 employees working in the shop. They also produce many belts, dog collars and personal leather goods plus feature an onsite engraving shop and complete repair service. "We still hand craft halters the way they were made at the turn of the century." Ralph Quillin said "it's what you would expect when the owners name is out front"

They recently announced an expansion into a second 4000 sq foot location Downtown Paris on Main St. which will serve as a second showroom and primary halter production space for their growing Export Market. As long-time fans of their work, we can attest to the quality and craftsmanship! To find out more and keep up with their news head over to the links below:
