Rug-Be Bears serves a nationwide clientele providing wholesale rugging from beginning to end, or anywhere in between. Rug-Be Bears works with a local tannery which means we can take care of the skinning, tanning, mounting and rugging which reduces your overall shipping costs and saves you time. Receive a hi

gh quality product tanned, mounted, rugged and returned to you in just 3-4 months or send in your tanned hides to be mounted and rugged in just 6-8 weeks. Rugging only items are completed and returned to you in just 4-6 weeks.

I know this will greatly inconvenience several of our customers, but unfortunately we need to suspend our taxidermy services effective immediately.

During the past several months our backlog has grown to an unmanageable level causing our already long lead times to be even longer. To reduce our overall workload we are asking customers to send items for our “Rugging Only” service. In other words, if a rug shell is needed you must complete it before sending the item to us. Our rugging only service continues to turn items around in 6-8 weeks. Our taxidermy service is the only service with a delay.

Our Story

Rug-Be Bears is a well established business serving a nationwide clientele providing wholesale rugging from beginning to end, or anywhere in between. Rug-Be Bears now in operation for over 13 years brings 25 plus years of taxidermy experience to the rug making industry. We work closely with a local world class tannery which enables Rug-Be Bears to handle all phases of rugging. We produce over 350 rugs per year from black, brown and grizzly to zebra, lion, and alligator and oh so many more. If you can imagine it we can and maybe already have rugged it. Custom pillows, handbags and other items made from exotic skins has recently become a large part of our business. Our goal is to provide the highest quality product for the end user to display and to be proud of today and for many years to come.
