Our riding and driving lesson program has been on hiatus since March 16, 2020. We have now made the very difficult decision to suspend the operation of our lesson program until early 2021. The mandatory state requirements to safely resume our lesson program are many, are costly, and are very time consuming. We would not begin to consider resuming lessons unless we fully complied with all of the mandatory safety requirements. This would require an increase in the cost of lessons and putting on more staff to get the job done right. Frankly, even fully complying with all of the safety requirements, there is still a risk to our clients, our lesson students, and our staff. Safety has always been our number one priority at Dar Maur Manor and we are not willing to compromise anyone’s safety now. Please know this is a very hard decision to make. We miss all of our lesson riders and all of the joy you bring to us by seeing you ride, learn, and grow. And our lesson horses miss all of the attention and treats you bring them. Pray for a vaccine and an end to this pandemic sooner rather than later. We will post updates as things progress. Stay safe and well. We are looking forward to seeing all of you again soon.
