We are almost to the weekend, friends! Dr. Hansel is taking a much needed vacation to unwind with her family before school & sports start back up, so we will have shortened hours beginning tomorrow. Our hours of operation for the next week will be as follows:

Friday, August 1st: 9 am-3 pm
Monday, August 4th, Tuesday, August 5th, Thursday, August 7th, and Friday, August 8th: 9 am-3 pm

We will be CLOSED on Wednesday, August 6th!!

Please note that DR. HANSEL WILL NOT BE HERE ON THESE DAYS. We will be open for medication and food pickups, but will have to refer emergencies elsewhere. Thank you for your understanding!

Ziggy wants to tell everyone that our phones and internet are working again! Yay!

He also wanted to announce that we will be implementing a mandatory “belly rub tax” with every transaction for the rest of the week. He will be collecting his payments at the front counter, as usual. We don’t make the rules, we just follow them 🤷🏼‍♀️

Alright friends, the Edgar County Animal Shelter needs our help now, more than ever!!

The shelter is FULL!! There are numerous dogs and puppies who are awaiting their forever home, and some have been there for WAY TOO LONG! Let’s get these pups placed into their perfect fur-ever families ❤️🐶

There are dogs of all ages, and some adoption fees have been sponsored. That means all you have to do is fill out an application and provide a loving home for one of these precious pups. PLEASE-share this post, and consider opening up your heart and home to a wonderful dog!! All dogs come fully vetted, fixed, microchipped, and pre-approved for a lifetime of snuggles 💕🐾

Hi! My name is Morgan Houia, I’m 23 years old and from Kansas IL. I graduated from Saint Mary of the Woods college in 2023. I have three spoiled dogs, a cat and a horse that I love dearly. My hobbies include riding horses, relaxing with friends and family, and spending time with my diverse group of fur babies! I’ve always had a strong love for animals since I was little girl. Working for Wags & Whiskers will be a true joy in pursuit to fulfill a life long passion. I am so excited to work with such a great group of girls!
