Kalamazoo County Health & Community Services Department (HCS) officials are warning the public to avoid contact with bats after a bat found at Ramona Park tested positive for rabies. This is the first rabid animal identified in Kalamazoo County in 2025.

Our two canine teams have officially completed their proficiency training through the National Association of Professional Canine Handlers! 🐾🎓

Both teams have undergone rigorous training to become certified in various fields such as Narcotics Detection, Tracking, Area Search and more. 🚨👮‍♂️

We are proud to have such skilled and dedicated canine teams ready to serve and protect our community. 🌟

With 20 years of experience and a genuine love for dogs, Abbie brings a wealth of knowledge and a gentle touch to every grooming session. She started her career in 4-H showing cats. Some of her favorite Dogs to groom are Doodles, Shihtzu’s, Welsh Terrier’s and Airedale’s. Whether it’s a simple bath or a full makeover, your furry friend will be in excellent hands.
