Shadow is our lovely in-house soil aerator! She is enjoying some digging outdoors during supervised play time in our own yard! Bunnies love to dig as it satisfies their burrowing instincts and was how their wild ancestors kept those nails trimmed! 🐰🪏💅

You know it’s daylight savings time, but your bunny doesn’t. Even though we’ve set our clocks backwards, your bunny’s internal clock will still demand dinner an hour early. So stay strong and stick to your usual routine (even if your bunny doesn’t agree).

Fun Rabbit Facts: 5 Rabbit Behaviors That Show Affection

1. If your bunny suddenly runs super fast and leaps in the air while twisting, they are showing you that they are happy and comfortable. This behavior is called binkying btw
2. Nuzzling up to you is another way your rabbit may show affection. They may also give you a gentle nip, but this just means they’re including you in their grooming ritual like they would a bonded rabbit.
3. When your rabbit licks you, know that this is another form of affection and how they socialize with other bunnies they have bonded with.
4. Some bunnies may flop when comfortable in their environment. If your bunny flops in your presence, they feel unthreatened and content.
5. Nudging or rubbing their head against you is a rabbit’s way of saying ‘I love attention’. If your rabbit does this, give them a soothing pet or something that you know they’ll enjoy.

Rabbit Rescue would like to share the 3 days, 3 weeks, 3 months rule for rabbit adoption.
In the first 3 days, your bunny is mostly likely going to be skittish and may not want to interact with you. After the next 3 weeks, your bunny will begin to settle in to their new home, and you may see more of their personality. And finally, after 3 months, your rabbit should have built a bond and trust with you. (Disclaimer: This is a general rule and some bunny’s may bond quicker while others may bond slower)

How to find Rabbit Rescue! 💕

Come along with me as I show you one possible route for finding our shop. The best landmark to help you find it will be Sam’s Roofing Supplies, and I recommend finding parking at the nearest shopping center, or street parking if you’re lucky! After 2 PM everyday, you’re also able to park right in front of the shop.
