⁉️Acupuncture for Anhidrosis
Anhidrosis is a condition where the horse has a reduced or complete lack of ability to sweat, preventing them from cooling down properly.

We have had great success in using certain acupuncture points to help the horse's body resume sweating as normal, and this is especially important for horses in work here in the Texas summer heat.

☀️ We reccommend scheduling early in the year in the Spring to begin acupuncture for anhidrosis and continuing with monthly sessions throughout the hot summer months.

I've been lucky to do many career days over the years but.... today was by far my favorite!🐴❤️

It hits different when it's your own kiddos school💚

My Kindergartener dressed as a Rodeo Queen for career day & I am here for it!

My Preschooler was my top pick for expert Vet Tech to help me handle our best patient at career day! He picked out $14(!!!) of gummy candies afterwards as his payment 💰 🤑 💸

I saw a lot of students dressed as veterinarians 🫶🫶🫶

We see a variety of different breeds on the regular but last week we had the first American Cream draft to visit our clinic 🤍🐴

Dolly is a carriage horse and came in to get her dental done. Getting to work with a wide array of different breeds that do a variety of different types of work is one of the best parts of the job!

Every year for my birthday I *get to* pay my annual dues & renew my veterinary license with the TBVME...a privilege I don't take lightly 💜🐴

Today I also got to help some awesome horses & spend the day with coworkers and friends that are awesome & spoiled me!

Happy Wednesday. It's an honor to live this life 💜
