Hey everyone!

Some of you may know we are expecting a baby girl in November! I’ll be on maternity leave from November 19th through January 6th.

I will still be checking messages and booking future sits during this time, but responses may take a little longer than usual! We’re already booking into March, so it’s never too early to get on the schedule.

Once I return, I’ll continue offering pet sitting, just with a tiny new assistant tagging along to some visits. She’ll stay cozy in her carrier or stroller and won’t interfere with your pets’ routine.

Here’s a quick Q&A to help answer a few common questions:

Q: Will you still be offering pet sitting after the baby arrives?
A: Yes! I’ll still be taking drop-ins and in-homes, though our little one may join for some visits (in her carrier or stroller). It will be most common that she joins for lunch time drop-ins and Christian will still be helping when needed!

Q: What about in-home stays?
A: I’ll still offer them, but they must be three nights or longer, and the baby will usually be there. This service may end up going away if we find it too challenging, but would like to give it a try!

Q: Is this the right fit for my dog?
A: If your pup is calm, gentle, and used to being around kids, absolutely! If they’re very high-energy, tend to jump, or are nervous around little ones, this setup might not be the best fit for now.

We have already had so much support as we enter this new chapter and we’re so grateful for the continued support and understanding! I appreciate the clients that have allowed me to continue doing what I love🩷
