We run out of our home for now in Paoli,IN and are hoping to grow and help the community with reptile needs.

PSA: we do not do any of this for the money!

We love animals and want to see the pet industry grow into a healthier space. We have seen too many sick animals leaving pet stores and pet owners being given incorrect information.

If you inquire about any animal that we have then you will be asked questions! If you do not wish to answer basic questions about the care you are giving your current animals or animals you wish to bring into your home then we will NOT do business with you. If you agreed to the care instructions of the animal you received and did not follow them then you will not receive another animal from us, period. If something happens to the pet you received from us you will be asked questions (after it being in the new environment for over 3 months) about the care they received and if you won't answer then we will not do business with you.

Asking these questions and ensuring people have the correct care is the bare minimum people should be doing in this industry and just shows how low the standard is.

The health of the animals is #1 around here and if that bothers you then please never get a pet of any kind.

Winter power outage tips for your reptiles:
-Wrap, insulate, contain.
-Heat packs outside of the enclosure and never directly on the animal as they can cause burns.
-Skip feeding until temperature stabilizes.
-Keep the reptile room closed as much as possible
-Cars can be a good temporary solution
-Avoid candles and open flames
-Drastic temperature changes can cause a lot of stress on their bodies so be gentle when moving them and give them time to adjust.

Our Uromastyx is out and about today! These guys are so cool and vegetarians so you never have to worry about finding bugs for them! They eat a mix of vegetables, flowers, and seeds. They do like it hot, their basking temperature is around 120 degrees!

We have a bamboo rat snake available! These are beautiful snakes and only get around 3 feet! These are not a beginner snake because you will have to maintain high humidity in the tank day and night.

Updated list of available animals: 3 baby crested geckos, a normal male ball python, 9 month old male corn snake, 3 yr old Amazon tree boa, 2 adult female leopard geckos, adult lavender albino male California kingsnake, juvenile hypo zero bearded dragon.

We also have plenty of Dubai roaches, superworms, giant mealworms, and regular mealworms.

Good morning, we will be taking a short break from responding to messages from May 14th-May 17th if you need dubia roaches or want to inquire about an animal please reach out today. We have surgery planned for tomorrow so it could end up being longer.

We still have 2 leopard geckos, an Amazon tree boa, a hypo zero bearded dragon, and a banana ball python. More will be available on the 18th!

A common question we get is: what is the best beginner reptile?

There is no one reptile that is best! The best reptiles to get are the ones you put time and effort into researching! Know what size enclosure they need to thrive, know your space and how much room you have for the animal, what lights and supplements they will need, and what they need to eat and if you have access to that food in your area. Wanting a "friendly" reptile is not something anyone can guarantee as each individual has their own personality. We have bearded dragons (that are personal pets) that love attention and being out and held, on the other hand we have others that prefer their space and want to remain in their own environment. It is about respecting that animal and their needs and that they have a right to not want to be handled on certain days if they don't want to be. Putting an animal in an enclosure that is not correct for them is not only irresponsible it could be deadly! Putting lights that are incorrect or heating mats that are unregulated by a thermostat could be deadly or cause harm!

Please keep this in mind when inquiring about any animal they are not cool pets for a few months, they are animals that will rely on you for the rest of their lives! And yes if we believe a home is unsuitable it will remain in our care, no exceptions.
