Long post coming- and some updated policy and practices you can expect to see effective immediately.
We are so busy, and we are so thankful! With that however comes having to establish some new business practices to ensure that our home lives are also still thriving.
We will still accept new customers, however ALL grooming appointments from here on out will require pre-booking. The No Show & Late Cancellation Policy will be enforced STRICTLY. We understand things happen, they happen to us too and there is some grace- however the policy has to remain in effect.
Bath & Brush clients-Including Lo-Shed and Blow outs will be on no more than a 3month cycle.
Full Grooming clients ( hair cut- anything requiring clipper work) will be 8weeks or less cycles.
Regular grooming is not just about maintaining the pets coat, it also helps them establish a good relationship with the process and greatly improves their behavior and tolerance to grooming itself.
Groomers are not magicians- if you can not get a comb completely through your pets coat- I am not going to be able to either. We do NOT demat, it’s not only inhumane- it also damages the coat itself making it far more likely to mat in the future. How you feel about the way your pet looks as a pet parent, is never going to be put over your pets health and well being in this salon. Humanity > Vanity.
Pets that come in matted regularly will unfortunately have to seek services elsewhere. We offer DIY led seminars, I am always happy to assist in tools and techniques to assure your pets coat is being cared for properly- there is NO reason for any of our customers to have matted pets at home ❤️ continued grooming of these issues just makes me the bad guy and I don’t want that relationship with your pet, nor you as the pet parent 🐾

Our hours going forward will be:
Mon/Tuesday: 8am-2pm
Thursday/Friday: 8am-2pm
Every other Sunday: 9am-Noon

If you would like to cancel or reschedule your appointment please do it within 48hrs of the initial appointment time to avoid the fee. 🐾
