Zuko had such a great time today at our local Pet Supplies Plus! They had an adoption event going on with kids running around playfully and a lot of other neighbors with dogs but Zuko was rock solid in sticking to the assignment, which was to have a relaxing time! He got a treat from an awesome sampling station they had set up too! What a happy guy 😍🐾

Zuko had such a good time getting to properly explore one of my favorite places, Tallahassee Florida!
Being able to spend time with his GG (my grandmother) and create so many unforgettable memories with them is something I’ll cherish forever! He was such a gentleman other than wanting GG’s scratches and attention whenever she sat down at home haha.
Zuko even got to experience my original safe space which is the shop tagged to this post. I want to give a HUGE shout of to them for being such a faithful safe spot for me all throughout my life and now letting me enjoy that experience with my beloved companion and helper!!

Before we had our fantastic trip a few weeks ago to one of my favorite places here in Florida, Tallahassee, to visit Zuko's GG and have some quality family time together we actually had to get Zuko's DHLPP updated!
He did phenomenal at his new clinic with his new vet and her techs that knows so much about awesome fear free techniques. Coming in at "healthy" pet weight of 62lbs (at least he's down 10lbs from last year!) and had one of the best visits he's ever had at a vets office, especially since I was unable to familiarize him to the location before his first visit.
Thanks to this amazing vet team and his muzzle training and conditioning, EVERYONE was able to feel comfortable that day! I am looking forward to his next visit coming up here in about a month or so for a even bigger check up with some annual bloodwork and getting his teeth staged for a future dental cleaning.

So here's to setting our dogs and our vet staff up for success!! 🩵🐾

📢!WANTED!📢 Muzzled Zuko is wanted all the time! Setting us up for success is something we do on the daily whether we're in our own neighborhood, out in public at an event, at the farmers market, at a restaurant or walking in our downtown area. It's so important to me that Zuko knows that I will be the one to keep him safe and advocate for him if something were to happen to us while we are out! Remember it's not kind to judge another dog owner for ethically using the tools they feel set them and their dogs up for success.
