The Humane Society of Bay County is a non-profit 501(c)3 organization formed in 1980 for the purpose of sheltering and locating homes for homeless animals through adoptions. We became a no-kill shelter in 2006, providing the only no-kill shelter option for homeless animals in Bay County, Florida

The HSBC takes in animals from local animal control facilities to reduce the number of animals being e

uthanized, as well as accepts animals from pet owners in the community who are no longer able to keep their pets. We believe that through humane education and responsible pet ownership, we will one day end the needless destruction of companion animals in our community, and we envision a world where every companion animal has a safe and loving home.

We are excited to announce our Name a Kitten Raffle drawing is today at 1PM CST at our HSBC Thrift and Gift Store!
Six kittens were left by their cat mom on someone's porch last month. Our Vet Tech took in four of the kittens that didn't find homes. When she took them to the vet, they were only 3-4 weeks old! Today, they are 7 weeks old!

We need your help picking their names!

$1 per ticket. All proceeds will go to the Humane Society of Bay County. For any last-minute entries, call the Thrift and Gift Store at 850-640-4708 or our Wellness Clinic at 850-227-5874.

The kittens have had their first FVRCP vaccine, and they are flea and intestinal parasite free!
