Pet Hurricane Prep Tips from Walks & Wags by Josh 🐾
Don’t forget your four-legged family members! Here are a few things to do before a storm:

✅ Pack at least 7 days of food and water per pet
✅ Keep medications in a waterproof container
✅ Make sure collars have current ID tags and your microchip information is up to date
✅ Pack leashes, harnesses, carriers, litter, waste bags, bowls, and comfort items like a favorite toy or blanket
✅ Have copies of vaccination records in a waterproof bag or saved on your phone in case you need to stay at a pet-friendly shelter or hotel
✅ Never leave pets behind during an evacuation

Policy Update – Walks & Wags by Josh

Hey everyone! I wanted to share a quick update to my booking policy to better serve all of my clients and ensure availability is fair for everyone.

Due to high demand and limited availability (especially for multi-pet households), I will now require a non-refundable deposit or cancellation fee for bookings canceled within 7 days of the scheduled service.

When large bookings are reserved, I often have to turn away other clients to stay within my insurance limits and provide the best care possible. Last-minute cancellations make it difficult to fill those spots on short notice.

This policy helps protect both my time and availability while continuing to provide reliable, high-quality care for your pets 🐾

I truly appreciate all of your support and understanding — I love what I do and take pride in caring for your pets like my own!
