NJ Intergroom 2026 ✂️🐾

This weekend was filled with discomfort… but in the best way.
Stepping outside of my comfort zone and experiencing a completely different convention vibe was exciting, nerve wracking, inspiring, and honestly really fulfilling. I came with the goal of learning, taking classes, attending seminars, and soaking in as much knowledge as possible, but I ended up leaving with something deeper than that.

It reminded me that grooming has always been bigger than just the service itself. It’s passion, creativity, connection, purpose, and constantly evolving into newer versions of yourself. Being surrounded by people who share that same love for this industry, along with seeing familiar faces I’ve grown to know and continue to be inspired by, reminded me why I started in the first place.

Even though I may not have made deep connections this weekend, simply being in the energy of it all was enough to remind me that I’m exactly where I need to be.

That’s a huge part of Burnt the Fur Out too, learning that growth doesn’t always feel comfortable. Sometimes growth feels awkward, overwhelming, intimidating, emotional, or even lonely.
But I’m realizing that fear doesn’t always mean “don’t do it.” Sometimes it’s confirmation that you’re expanding.

So I’ll continue to feel scared sometimes… but I’ll keep letting that fear motivate me instead of stop me. 💚

6/16 and 6/30 stationary at Dog Academy
Closed June 20

📣 I will no longer be accepting new clients for stationary days at Mimi’s House every other Thursday or Saturday stationary days.

My books have been filling up about a month in advance for mobile routes, so I really recommend rebooking at the end of your appointment. You can even book out for the year to keep your spot routine & pet consistent! 🐾

Also a quick note for summer, hours will be between 9am and 5:30pm on certain days and arrival times may vary a little for beach side appointments because of on-season traffic ☀️
