Way to go girls!! Chelsea hauled the kiddos to the WCSO Jacpot tonight and Kendall, Megan and Shelby did great!!

Hauled a few to Dothan tonight for a little barrel practice. Kendall and Rodeo ended up 2nd in the 1D and won the PeeWee. Chelsea ended up in the 1D behind her (every good trainers proud moment!) And Shasta (the Palamino Project everyone has seen at the farm) won the 2D with her owner Shannon.

We are raising funds as a team to help with end of the year awards and necessities throughout the 2025 season! Much of the proceeds will go to Florida Panhandle Saddle Club where the shows take place, to help with end of the year awards and some of it will go in to our team account at Signature Quarter Horses to help with entry fees, team party, and other expenses for these kids!
These kids work really hard being coached by their fearless leader Chelsea, who pours her heart into this group every day of the week!

Today, surrounded by the best people in the entire world, we said goodbye to Trigger. We lost an absolute legend, a staple of Signature Quarter Horses, and most notably, a huge piece of our family.

A few months ago, I attended a bridal shower for a friend, and we were asked to guess her favorite childhood memory. It made me ponder what mine would be… and I couldn’t pinpoint a single moment, but I knew it was Trigger. He is favorite childhood memory. The decision to lay him to rest today was the toughest decision I’ve ever had to make.

However, Trigger’s life was truly remarkable. He received more hugs and kisses than most horses do in TEN lifetimes. He carried countless children around, more than any horse should have to. He carried me, and Chels, around at LEAST a million miles EACH. He won us more blue ribbons than we could have ever asked for. He had been in more stores, schools, and churches than any horse probably ever. He was a special little guy.

Trigger was my first best friend. He taught me so many lessons in the past 23 years, but 23 years still wasn’t enough time with him. I truly don’t remember a time that he wasn’t here. It was an absolute honor to have him as my first horse, and I am grateful that he hung around long enough for Caroline and Hayden to experience the joy of riding him for the first time. He will be missed by so many of us.

Trigger was truly a once-in-a-lifetime horse, but I hope we meet again in the next one. I love you forever T 🤍 - Noel

Children loving animals is a way for them to empathize with living things. When children are young, they need something other than adult humans to feel kinship with, and to observe and call their own. Noel’s love for him is over 20 years, while Caroline has loved him for 4. Cushings is an evil disease. Thank you to our team of amazing vets and farrier for giving Trigger a few more years for us to love him. He’s touched so many lives.
