Welcome to the largest taxidermy studio in central Illinois that mounts in excess of 200 deer heads and 35 turkeys within 12-14 months!! Derek is now owner operator as Bill works alongside of

his son. Derek has been trained by not only his father but by World Champion turkey taxidermist Cally Morris as well as 3-time World Champion deer taxidermist Gene Smith. Derek also has a seat on the Board of Directors for the Illinois Taxidermy Association. Creating award winning taxidermy since 1980, specializing in deer and turkeys.

Happy 4th of July everyone!!!

Update for everyone.. restoration process starts Monday! We have met with most; still waiting on some for next week but things are starting to improve.

Rest assure that all mounts are ok, however, looks like main building will be a complete gut minimal or possible loss….wont know for sure until all estimates come in. We are working daily to get things back in production!

Please be patient and we will keep you all posted as things progress!!

Another week in the books, and we are OFFICIALLY done mounting 2024 turkeys!!! That feels so good to say! Finished a few turkeys between mounting the last 5 this week and prepped more whitetail capes. I will finish a few more turkeys next week and maybe a few black bears, then start mounting whitetails!
