🩷🐾Today we welcomed our newest rescue, Opal — a bright, affectionate 1‑year‑old Samoyed with a heart full of sweetness. 🩷🐾

Opal loves to play with other dogs, adores attention, and has the spirited energy of a young Samoyed ready to take on the world. She’s an active girl who will thrive in a home where she can bond closely with her family, stay engaged, and enjoy plenty of exercise.

We’re so excited to have Opal with us and can’t wait to watch her blossom.

Our sweet boy Cruise has found his forever home — and it’s everything we hoped for him.

Cruise was adopted by his loving new pawrents, Alyssa and Liam, who fell for his calm spirit and gentle Samoyed sweetness right away. He’s already settling beautifully into his new life, embraced with so much love and joy.

We are deeply grateful to his foster mom, Kathleen, whose patience, guidance, and heart helped Cruise grow into the confident, affectionate pup he is today. Foster love truly changes lives, and Cruise is living proof.

After winning over his foster mom and dad from the very first moment, Hunter has officially been adopted — right where he already felt at home.

He now lives in beautiful Rhode Island, where he’s settling in wonderfully and loving life with his new lab brother, Timber. From boating adventures to backyard playtime, Hunter has embraced every moment with joy and that signature affectionate spirit we all adore.

Congratulations to Hunter and his incredible family. We’re so happy this sweet soul is right where he belongs.

Sweet Violet has found her forever home, and our hearts couldn’t be fuller. From the moment she arrived, her affectionate nature and soft, sincere heart shone through — and her new family felt it immediately. This gentle, affectionate girl stepped into her new family’s life and immediately became the center of their world.

She now has a tiny Yorkie brother who welcomed her with instant love.

Violet’s new family is in love with her soft sweetness, and we’re so grateful she’s beginning her next chapter surrounded by comfort, joy, and endless affection.

As we approach our one‑year anniversary, we’re reflecting on the incredible milestones this little rescue has achieved — lives saved, families formed, and a community that continues to show up for Samoyeds in need (and some naysayers said we weren’t needed 🙄). 15 dogs helped in 12 months!!!

But growth brings new challenges, and we need your help to keep moving forward.

NESR is actively seeking:
• Fosters — Homes with or without dogs who can open their hearts temporarily to a pup in need.
• Volunteers — Whether you thrive behind the scenes or love being hands‑on at events, we have meaningful ways for you to get involved.
• Trainers & Behaviorists — Professionals who want to partner with us to support dogs working through decompression, confidence building, and adoption readiness.

Levi thrives when he has people who truly enjoy spending time with him — families who love long walks, playtime, and simply being together. He bonds deeply and wants to be part of your daily life, not just the quiet moments.

Join New England Samoyed Rescue on August 12, 2026 from 6–9 PM at Elicit Brewing Company, 165 Adams St, Manchester, CT, for an evening dedicated to fluffy smiles and second chances.

We’ll be highlighting our rescue mission, sharing updates on pups currently seeking their forever homes, and welcoming donations that directly support their care, decompression, and safe placement. If you have an interest in fostering or adoption, we will also have applications!

🐶🐾Samoyed • Male • ~44 lbs • AKC Verified🐶🐾

Scottie is a sweet young Samoyed who is steadily blossoming in foster care. He’s gentle, social, and curious — approaching his foster family for affection, settling beautifully in his crate, and showing soft, relaxed body language with people and dogs.

He sometimes startles easily with new sights and sounds, but with reassurance and predictable routines he recovers well and grows more confident each day. Scottie enjoys yard time, sniff walks, quiet exploration, and staying close to his humans. He’s progressing with house training and responds wonderfully to guidance.

Scottie may thrive with a calm, confident dog or as a solo pup with adopters who appreciate a sweet, sensitive soul.
