Handsome Hank

Handsome Hank Sadly Hank passed away August 31, 2023. I'm Hank. I was an 11yr old red heeler.. My story starts as a rescue by Waggin' Tails Canine Training.

I learned so much there and was loved like family! My first home was with an elderly lady, but my youth was too much and Waggin' Tails found me a home with other rescues for five happy, loving years in Fort Worth. Life changed for my owner, and a pack brother has too many problems to ever find a safe, understanding home. Through all the love of my now former human and friends, I now begin new life

as the sole dog no doubt applying all the things learned from my former longtime pack in protecting my new man and my first feline as a new pack ... come along and follow my adventure!

Hank passed over the rainbow bridge today. His owner Shane Nicholas just notified me. A great dog to the very end :(

We did it! The yard was dry, the throw was right, and I got to nab one last frisbee catch from Eric before his surgery, and me leaving next week again for the ranch. :)

Trying to get a last frisbee catch in my current yard. Made a few amazing jump attempts at a few too high, one sailed over the fence to be retrieved by neighbor. Weather may muddy the yard, so it could have been the last time I get to have Eric try to toss me a good one in my backyard.
