☀️ Beat the Heat: Summer Paw Safety

Hot pavement can burn your pet’s paws in just a few seconds—and they don’t have shoes to protect them!

🚶‍♀️ Quick test: Place the back of your hand on the pavement for 7 seconds.
If it’s too hot for you, it’s too hot for your pet.

Try walking early in the morning or later in the evening, and stick to grass when possible. Your pet’s paws (and body temp) will thank you!

Some of our favorite snacks can be seriously harmful to pets. Even small amounts of certain foods can cause big problems.

🚫 Keep these out of your pet’s reach:
Xylitol (found in sugar-free gum & peanut butter)
Grapes & raisins
Onions & garlic
Chocolate & caffeine

When in doubt, skip the table scraps and stick to pet-safe treats. Your furry friend’s tummy (and liver) will thank you!
