Sugar Gliders possess a unique dental structure, known as diprodonts, featuring two upper front teeth and two elongated lower incisors that point forward. In the wild, these teeth enable them to extract fruit and sap by prying open tree bark, while their 36 other teeth facilitate crushing and chewing. A distinctive characteristic of Sugar Gliders is that, unlike rodents, their teeth do not grow continuously and do not need clipping.

Ziggy and Marley have been neutered and are currently housed in separate cages, allowing them to see and smell each other. With one dose of pain medication remaining, I plan to reunite them tomorrow if their condition permits. They are scheduled to go to their furever home this weekend. 🥹

Cookie has been alone for over a year. Every time I tried to do intros she would attack the other glider (I tried several different one) Luna's mate died and she has been alone for a few weeks. I did pouch swaps, cage swaps and I put them into a double sided bonding pouch with mesh separating them for 4 hours a day for several weeks. Well it worked!!! When I did the face to face intros they climbed in the neutral pouch. They are now in Lunas cage after it had been completely cleaned and descented. If you are having intros issues don't give up. Pull back and go slow. 😊🥰 #

Chewy is having a huge deal on critter nation cage covers!!!! Limit of 2 per person. I'm going to switch out the shower curtains I have had as cage covers for the past 3 years.

Lovies joeys were laying on her belly not on the ni**le. I was able to take a peek and they are both boys 💙💙 these are the first twin boys born in my house 🥰 One looks like a white mosaic or a leu the other maybe a pie bald or mosaic either way they both will be stunning 😍 I'm hoping tomorrow morning I'll be able to get weights on them.

This morning I took everything out of Webster and Lovies cage to deep clean it. I kept them in their pouch to keep their scent. When I put them back I heard Lovie "singing" to her joeys. I dropped the pouch halfway down on the cage and will start feeding on the bottom to make things easier on mom and also just incase a joey falls. Her "singing" sounds like Maracas being shook. What is actually happening is she is starting to shake them off her ni**les. Usually that means within the week they should be fully detached 🥰 We should start seeing a foot or tail sticking out of her full pouch. Any guesses on colors or if it will be males, females or 1 of each.
