😍 Meet Xena!

Despite being 58-pounds, Xena loves to cuddle and thinks she's a lap dog, so be prepared for plenty of snuggles. This 4-year-old pup has such great energy and a playful personality. Xena would thrive in a home with adults or older kids who can keep up with her lively spirit. She enjoys playing fetch, and she'll happily chase after balls and toys all day long. Xena also reportedly gets along with cats, but a slow and careful introduction is always suggested.

Meet Pumpkin, the morbidly obese, 25lb feline who’s basically a furry couch potato!

At 6 years young and a little (okay, a LOT) on the chonky side, she's got the art of doing absolutely nothing down pat. This big ol' softie reportedly gets along with cats, dogs, and humans of all ages. Although she can be a little self-conscious about being picked up, she'll happily lounge on your couch, judging your life choices from her throne.

Yes - Pumpkin's on a diet plan, because even cats need to watch their waistlines! But don’t worry, her transformation journey is underway! With a clear plan in place, we’re determined that this chonky-monkey will be on her way to a happier, healthier life.

🐾 Meet Stella!

This adorable, 30lb lady loves starting her day with morning walks, then indulging in tasty treats and snoozing the afternoon away. She’s very easy-going and adores being close to her humans. And she absolutely can’t resist a good b***y scratch!!

As Stella enters her golden years at the age of 12, she would thrive as the sole pet in her forever home, soaking up all the love and attention from her forever human. The shelter can be overwhelming for her, so she is currently in foster.

Meet our little miracle! 🐱

This brave little kitten was found on Palm City bridge last Thursday, battered and bruised, but not broken! It is unclear whether he was ejected from a vehicle or suffered a fall, but he definitely had a rough start. Despite road rash, raw paws, and a lip avulsion, he's already showing us his resilience.

We’re so grateful to Martin County Sheriff's Office's Animal Services for finding him on the bridge and rescuing him, and to Pet Emergency of Martin County for providing top-notch overnight care until we opened the next morning. Our team has since been working tirelessly to nurse him back to health, and we’re happy to report that as of today, he was strong enough to go to a loving foster home.
