☀️ Heat stroke can happen fast, especially in brachycephalic (short-nosed) breeds like Bulldogs, French Bulldogs, Pugs, Boston Terriers, and Shih Tzus.

These pets already have a harder time cooling themselves through panting, making them much more susceptible to overheating during hot and humid weather.

🐾 Tips to help keep your pet safe:
• Avoid walks during the hottest parts of the day
• Always provide access to fresh water and shade
• Never leave pets in a parked car
• Watch for signs of heat stroke, including excessive panting, drooling, weakness, vomiting, or collapse

🚨 Heat stroke is a medical emergency. If you suspect your pet is overheating, move them to a cool area, offer small amounts of water, and seek veterinary care immediately.

A little extra caution can make all the difference during these summer months. Stay cool and stay safe! ❤️
