Little Leo is slowly being weaned off oxygen, & was so happy to see foster mom for a visit during one of his oxygen breaks🥰

Our little guy has valiently endured massive amounts of diagnostics which all seem to lead to the same conclusion, that he needs more diagnostics.

But he's looking and feeling much more chipper & apparently today he found his appetite, even for the special food he's been on so that's good

Growing older is not for the faint hearted & maybe Leo just needed a little assist to get his mojo back. He is a cancer survivor & a survivor of years of neglect & mistreatment so sometimes he still needs a little extra support.

So far it seems his collapsing trachea caused significant inflammation in his lungs making it difficult to breath & the harder he tried the more stress he put on his lungs, not to mention how terrified he was, exacerbating it all. Still in ICU ruling out every other possibility & making sure he's stabilizing & breathing normally.

We're grateful to be able to take fospice animals into our rescue. Oftentimes they're with us for years & medically complicated. We never assume they're at the end of life & idly wait for their passing. We see this as a new stage in life where they're given a new chance to be loved, to be happy & pain free & sometimes to find new treatments to extend their time with us♥️

We know it's a big ask but Leo's hospitalization has been so costly but he wouldn't have made it without immediate critical care & he was just finding peace & happiness in his life. Please if you can help us by giving any amount toward his care it will enable us to be the last hope for sweet animals like Leo. We're so grateful to you for your kindness & generosity☀️🌻

Sweet Walter has just passed at almost 16yrs old. Thank God for his loving family who stepped up to save his life after he lost his home. His family who didn't want him to suffer in a shelterr had made plans to euthanize him when he was 12 years old because they could no longer care for him. They did this out of love as they also searched tirelessly for a rescue who would be able to provide a loving home 3 yrs ago for him to spend his senior years with a family who loved him. They only had one day left & thankfully the Heaven's aligned & we were able to save his life and place him in a loving foster home.

Walter spent his final years being cherished & loving his 2 canine siblings as if they all grew up together. And they loved Walter right back & still love him & will miss him very much

We know they will all be reunited one day. Walter passed surrounded by love & left this earth knowing his life meant the world to his family ♥️

We just rushed little Leo to Emergency ‼️

After surviving a grueling life, then being dumped at the shelter in disabling, painful condition as a senior he finally found peace & love & was enjoying his golden years as a cherished family member. Something he was  deprived of his whole life.

His myriad of medical conditions including cancer, from a life of neglect are being managed so well that all he knows is that he's a happy pup who feeling fine, & life is good♥️

Until tonight when Leo had a difficult breathing episode which quickly turned deadly. He's now in O2 & heavy IV meds & is calm & comfortable. Estimate is through the roof, as usual with a sudden, dramatic episode. There's no option other than letting him go, which neither Leo nor we were on board with. He wants to fight & we're with him all the way. But we really need your help to cover Leo's hospitalization & treatment so he can go home to his foster family where he belongs🥰

Sometimes in Rescue, you just wanna hang your head & cry😢

Sometimes you pray that happiness awaits them after they die🙏🏼

Why is life on this earth so hard for some,
What could these pups have possibly done?

An innocent, gentle pup trapped in a life of misery
& Hard as we try, we can't seem to set them free. . .

This is handsome, sweet, calm, gentle Froggy,
Two years locked in a cage & now he can see
This is the way his whole life is destined to be,

He's giving up hope & just waiting to die
These times in rescue you just wanna cry😢


Please some kind soul who only needs one special pup in your life, give Froggy a chance to have someone to love that loves him back💙🙏🏼

Yet another perfect pup interviewing for her forever family. . .

Our most adorable Mabel actually beginning to look a bit like the Goldendoodle she told us she is💞 (well the shelter told us). But after being completely shaved down she just looked mostly like a shorn sheep🐏🌸

How can you not look at her expressive face & twinkle in her eyes & not see what a special pup she is. Mabel has that one of a kind impish sweetness that makes her a joy to share life with🩷🌻

Mabel has all the genuinly lovely qualities that we all cherish about dogs💛🐾 Charming, well mannered, loving, joyful, easygoing & gentle with her playmates, fun loving & playful when it's playtime, calm & quiet when it's couchtime. Mabel is a young (2ish) beautiful pup, who will be devoted to her humans. We would like a somewhat active family that will include Mabel on their fun adventures. She'll be a welcome member of her community & make her family proud🌷⭐️
