If you can't leave them in a car that's running with A/C, just leave them home - please!! We see this more than we'd like to! 🥵

Many people underestimate how quickly temperatures rise inside a parked car, even on “mild” days and even with the windows cracked.

When it’s 75°F outside, the inside of a vehicle can reach over 100°F in just 20 minutes. At higher temperatures, conditions become deadly even faster.

Pets cannot cool themselves the same way humans can. Heatstroke can develop rapidly and become life-threatening before owners realize there’s a problem.

If your pet can’t come inside with you, the safest choice is to leave them at home.

Please help us spread awareness this summer:
🐾 No errands are worth the risk.
🐾 Cracked windows are not enough.
🐾 10–15 minutes absolutely matters.

We are accepting supply donations by appointment only this weekend to help support the dogs currently in our care.

Most-needed items:
• Blankets
• Towels
• Cleaning supplies (laundry detergent, disinfectant, paper towels, etc.)
• Dog toys (NO rawhide, please)

📍 Drop-off is by appointment only

Every blanket, towel, and supply goes directly toward caring for rescue dogs coming from overcrowded shelters and emergency placements. Thank you for helping us keep them clean, comfortable, and safe. ❤️
