New GOAT Camp dog starting today 🐐🔥

Roxy is a 2.5 year old Cane Corso here to work through some serious aggression issues as well as anxiety. She’s a super sweet girl who loves to play, but she has also become confident in using aggression to get her owners to stop doing things she doesn’t like. Whether it’s putting on her collar or leash, asking her to get off the couch, or even petting her for too long, Roxy has learned that aggression can be an effective way to control situations.

These are serious issues with any dog, but especially with a powerful breed like a Cane Corso. Roxy has already bitten a few times, so the time to address these problems is now.

Our focus will be showing her owners how to become calm, confident leaders, teaching Roxy that aggression is not an effective strategy, and implementing the structure and boundaries she’s been missing. As her owners become clearer and more consistent, our goal is for Roxy to feel less anxious, more secure, and able to settle with ease instead of constantly feeling the need to control situations herself.

She’s a smart girl with a lot of potential, and we know she’s going to make tremendous progress because her owners are committed to her 100%.

Wish Roxy the best of luck on her GOAT Camp journey!

New GOAT Camp dog starting today! 🐐🔥

Nelly is a 5.5 year old Lab / Rottweiler / Pit Bull / Boxer mix here to work through some serious reactivity issues. She’s reactive to other dogs, bikes, kids, and people, and overall tends to get pretty overwhelmed on leash.

One of the biggest contributors to her struggles is that she pulls a ton on the leash with her owners. That may seem like a minor issue, but for many dogs, constant leash tension creates frustration, and that frustration often turns into feeling overwhelmed and reacting to the world around them.

Our focus will be teaching Nelly how to properly follow leash pressure so she can walk beautifully on leash, helping her stay calmer overall, and giving her clear direction on exactly what to do instead of reacting when she encounters her triggers.

She’s a sweet girl with a lot of potential, and we know she’s going to crush it.

Wish Nelly the best of luck on her GOAT Camp journey!

Two new GOAT Camp dogs started this week 🐐🔥

Meet Tala & Bo!

Tala is a 6 month old English Golden Retriever here to get started on the right track and prevent bad habits from developing before they become bigger issues. She’s a very sweet, motivated pup who wants to do well, but she lacks some confidence right now, so that will be a major focus of her program. We’ll also be heavily focused on building confidence in her independence so she learns how to exist calmly and confidently without constantly relying on people for reassurance.

Bo is a 5 year old mix of Great Pyrenees, Belgian Malinois, Chow Chow, Hound, and more… definitely an interesting combo 😅 He’s here to work through some very intense anxiety issues. Bo is super sweet and motivated, but he really struggles with settling and being independent. He also lives with two other dogs, and there have been some issues between them in the home. A major focus of this program will be teaching the owners how to properly implement structure and boundaries so the dogs can live together in harmony instead of constantly existing in stress and tension.

Wish Tala & Bo the best of luck on their GOAT Camp journeys!

🏅🐐 GOAT Camp Graduation Day 🐐🏅

Huge congratulations to Oso on graduating GOAT Camp!

Oso has made an incredible amount of progress during his time here. He came in absolutely exploding at other dogs, and now he’s become a very neutral, well behaved member of the pack here at the facility.

His owner has also grown tremendously throughout the process. She’s become much more confident handling him in difficult situations and has sharpened her communication skills with him in a huge way. They’re now able to walk nicely on leash, without pulling, and pass other dogs calmly, something they truly never thought would be possible before starting the program.

One of the biggest keys to Oso’s success has been learning how to chill out and decompress consistently. His owner has done a great job implementing boundaries around her personal space and teaching Oso how to become more confident in his independence instead of constantly relying on her emotionally.

This owner cares deeply about her dog and, most importantly, she’s committed to actually doing the work we ask of her. That’s why they’ve made so much progress. At the end of the day, we can explain what needs to happen and how important consistency is, but the owners are the ones who decide whether they’re going to follow through.

Oso and his owner absolutely did, and the results speak for themselves.

Congratulate Oso and his owner on an excellent job well done!! 🐐

🏅🐐 GOAT Camp Graduation Day 🐐🏅

Big congratulations to George on graduating GOAT Camp!

George has made so much progress during his time here. This big guy now walks like an absolute champ on the leash, has made huge strides in his ability to stay neutral around other dogs, and has learned to check in with his owner when he starts getting overly excited instead of reacting. That’s a massive mindset shift for him.

One of the biggest wins has also been his ability to finally settle consistently instead of constantly living in overdrive. His owners have learned how to properly play with him using rules and structure, which has helped create much more clarity and balance in his life overall.

George has also become an excellent, well behaved member of the pack here at the facility, and we’re definitely going to miss having him around.

He’s a sweet dog with a lot of personality, and now he has the structure and communication needed to keep bringing out the best version of himself.

Congratulate George on a job well done! 🐐

Two new GOAT Camp girls started today 🐐🔥

Olive is a 6 month old pup and the dog sister of GOAT Camp alumni, Kaianne! Her program will focus heavily on learning how to settle, building confidence in her independence, and developing neutrality around other dogs. Olive is super sweet and always wants to be attached to a human, and she’s already starting to bark demandingly for attention. She’s also beginning to bark at other dogs on leash, so our goal is to stop those behaviors before they become deeply ingrained habits. Starting young and creating clarity now will make a huge difference for her future.

Zoey is a 4 year old Poodle and the dog sister of GOAT Camp alumni, Sophie! Zoey struggles with anxiety, reactivity, and difficulty settling her mind down independently. Like many Poodles, she’s incredibly intelligent, which can be both a blessing and a challenge when that brain never shuts off. She can also become too much during play with Sophie, so we’ll be helping her learn better regulation and balance there as well.

Wish Olive & Zoey the best of luck on their GOAT Camp journeys!

Most owners want one thing: a dog who can walk calmly on a loose leash. We teach the skills, the structure, and the mindset to make that happen. Summer is here… take those walks back.

Three new GOAT Camp pups started today 🐐🔥

Meet Logan, Perun, & Jordan!

Logan is an 11 month old Dachshund here to work through severe separation anxiety and reactivity. This sweet little dude lacks major confidence in his independence, is fearful of pretty much everything, and really struggles to settle. His owners are going to learn how to implement proper boundaries and communicate clearly with him so he can stop living in a constant state of stress and start feeling more secure in the world around him.

Perun is a 4 month old German Shepherd here to get started on the right foot with his owners. He’s very smart, eager to please, and full of potential, but right now he struggles with boundaries because he’s been used to total freedom at home. His owner has already realized how important structure and consistency are going to be moving forward, and we can’t wait to watch him develop into an awesome dog.

Jordan is a 5 month old Labrador here to learn the basics as she enters adolescence. Her owner is honestly an ideal fit for us because her goal isn’t flashy obedience, it’s a calm, neutral dog that can make good decisions and enjoy freedom in the real world. Music to our ears. Jordan is super eager to please, so she’ll absolutely learn great obedience too, but the focus is building the mindset and stability that matter most long term.

Three young dogs with bright futures & a lot of learning ahead.

Wish Logan, Perun, & Jordan the best of luck on their GOAT Camp journeys!
